Welcome to the Taiwan Satoyama Sustainable Innovation Alliance!

This association is a non-profit social organization established in accordance with the law. Its purpose is to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of practitioners engaged in the field of rural landscape and seascape, to implement the preservation and utilization of rural landscape and seascape, to manage and connect resilient rural communities, to mainstream the sustainable value of rural landscape and seascape, and to promote domestic and international exchanges and promote the sustainable development of agriculture, fishing and mountain villages in Taiwan.

To protect your rights, please read the association's bylaws carefully before registering as a member. When you click the "Join Member" button online, it indicates that you will become a member of the association and enjoy all the services provided by this website, and agree to abide by the membership rules. Members should fill out a membership application form upon joining. After approval, members should pay membership fees in accordance with the bylaws to become formal members.

Our members are divided into the following two categories:

  1. Individual members: Those who agree with the purpose of this association, are at least 20 years old, and have the nationality and legal capacity of the Republic of China.
  2. Group members: Any government-registered company, organization, or group that agrees with the purpose of this association.

Distinguishing between individuals, groups, and probationary members

  1. Fees: Individual members pay a membership fee and annual fee of NT$1,500 in the first year, and an annual fee of NT$1,000 thereafter. Group members pay a membership fee and annual fee of NT$3,000 in the first year, and an annual fee of NT$3,000 thereafter.
  2. Membership benefits: Members will have priority access to events organized by the association; receive regular email updates on the latest ecotourism information; and enjoy exclusive member perks.
  3. General Meeting of Members: Individual members participate in the annual General Meeting of Members and exercise the rights of voting, electing, being elected, and recalling members; each member has one right. Group members may appoint two representatives to exercise the rights of group members. Group member representatives have the rights of voting, electing, being elected, and recalling members; each representative has one right.


Membership Obligations and Responsibilities

  1. Members have the obligation to abide by the association's charter, resolutions, and pay membership dues.
  2. Members agree and guarantee not to publish, post, or transmit any defamatory, false, threatening, indecent, obscene, illegal, offensive, defamatory, or intellectual property-infringing text, images, or any form of file on the Taiwan Satoyama Sustainable Innovation Alliance website; otherwise, the Alliance reserves the right to delete them.
  3. Members agree to avoid discussing private matters in public discussion areas, and to respect the rights and privacy of others when posting articles.
  4. Members agree that they must fully respect copyright and are prohibited from publishing text, images, or any form of files that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  5. All works and materials on this website, including their copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, other intellectual property rights, ownership, or other rights, belong to the Taiwan Satoyama Sustainable Innovation Alliance or its rights holders. Without prior legal authorization from the Taiwan Satoyama Sustainable Innovation Alliance or its rights holders, members may not reproduce, transmit, modify, edit, or use them in any other form or for any purpose without authorization; otherwise, they shall bear all legal liabilities.

Withdrawal or loss of membership

  1. Members may submit a written statement explaining their reasons for withdrawing from the alliance.
  2. Those who fail to pay membership fees as stipulated in the articles of association for two consecutive years shall be deemed to have automatically withdrawn from the membership.
  3. If a member (or member representative) violates laws, the articles of association, or fails to comply with the resolutions of the general meeting of members, the board of directors may issue a warning or suspend their membership. If the violation seriously harms the organization, the general meeting of members may expel them from the organization.
  4. A member who loses his or her membership or is expelled by a resolution of the general meeting of members is considered to have left the membership.
